Debris Impact

Also known as: windborne debris, missile impact, flying debris

What the test simulates

The 100 mph missile represents debris carried in a 250 mph EF5 wind field. Walls, door, and ventilation openings must each pass the same impact criterion. A passing assembly may dent or deflect, but cannot let the missile penetrate the protected space.
